Cote et Ciel: Melancholy
Visiting the depths of a secluded forest in the outskirts of London, @originalshift was tasked with shooting @coteetciel’s latest FW21 campaign titled “Melancholy”. With the collection focused on utilising the most intricate materials as well as the fluidity of its design, the abstract shots capture the campaign’s sombre theme.
Ahead of the release of the campaign, we caught up with the brand’s CEO, Florian Beetz to discuss how introspective melancholy bolsters creativity, Paris’ cultural influence, minimalism vs functionality as well as some of their dream collaborators.
